Dr. Ravi Kanakaraj, a Ph.D. holder in Safety with 3 decades of untiring & versatile service in HSE is our proud Technical Director at BIST. As a technical director, he is pledged to the smooth working of the Company and is instrumental in making strategic decisions for the Company.
With over 35 years of experience in the field of health and safety, Kanakaraj’s expertise is Business strategy Planning and Organizing by creating breakthrough ideas in emphasizing a positive safety culture in workplaces. He is a committed professional who monitors the overall running of the system with optimal output. Being a visionary, he steered the company from many a tide to a prodigious Safety Training & Consulting provider in the country.
Kanakaraj holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.h.c) in Safety Management from the University of Swahili Foundation, Panama, Central America.- Lead Auditor for OHSEMS 45001, EMS 14001 & QMS 9001 by DNV GL Vast experience in High raised building construction, Underground & Elevated Metro Railway Projects, Project Management Consultancies, and Fire Safety Management. Gaining years of experience in L&T, Reliance IDEB Projects P Ltd, Purvankara Projects Ltd, JLL, Bovis Lend Lease, JMC Projects, etc. Trained in International Safety Systems offered by Dupont, Intel, Bovis Lend Lease, and TATA BP Solar. Has also been instrumental in winning national and international Safety Awards for projects like ITC Ltd-Sun Rise Bangalore, Reliance Industries -Twin Towers Navi Mumbai & Metro Rail-Hyderabad..he left his corporate job to join BIST with a mission to integrate safety standards in the minds of individuals and professionals across the globe. He is a member of professional health and safety organizations NSC, LPA, IAOH, COSPIC, IFE (India & UK), UKFPA, SJAA, IRCS. His attention to detail and pragmatism will bring success in his field.
